Getting Your Tealight Ready

The most important thing to remember when burning tealights is that they fully liquify. This means they must always be burned in a snug fitting cup. Some tealights come already in cups, or you can get reusable glass cups. When using a reusable glass cup you can simplify cleaning, by adding coarse salt to the bottom of your cup before burning. Tealights have a small metal wick tab that holds the wick in place once the wax has liquified, which can sometimes stick to the glass after burning. By adding salt removing the wick tab is as simple as turning the cup over after burning.
